Hi we shopped around and found Beco was the best deal, but we had two fitted one in the lounge and a slightly smaller one in the kitchen. The lady on the shop advised us to run them all the time for economy reasons. As we are normally in Turkey for the very hot weat her we have not used it on cold. In winter they both k

i paid 2600 TL for a 12k BTU in my bedroom. Its super quiet, really well fitted and was originally supposed to be Fujicool but they couldnt get the right model when the work was scheduled so fitted a slightly better model - cant remember exact make/model as i'm only there every few months and away right now - but looking online its very close to this: https://goo.gl/images/1qJRqh
I also paid 4500 TL for a 24BTU for my lounge and kitchen - open plan and high ceiling. Both work amazing and heat or cool super quick then maintain temperature as required. ultra quiet and you can turn the white LED temp indicator off/on easily. (super bright in a bedroom if you leave it on hope that helps. This was all done christmas time, so to date, as ive only visited 3 times, i cant comment on economy/running costs. i did get 5 years warranty but this was by 'word of mouth' as it was all done by local contacts.

We got our Grundig 24BTU inverter from Hay Pem next to Hur Deniz in Alsancak. Good service and price. Best thing we've ever bought!
