Driving to TRNC to clear house.

We are thinking of driving over to collect furniture and belongings from our house. Is it a problem, I gather you have to get permission from the customs etc. Is it easy? What about bringing a trailer in and out? Also are there any problem going through Turkey? Any advice appreciated. Anyone have a part load for Holland. Could meet a lorry driving to UK at Calais or something.
