That is really sad, lovely man, he made a friend's wedding suit a few years ago, it was beautiful. RIP Osman

We share these tributes, a true Gentleman. He served this country well, he even made a suit for a goat who was the regimental mascot! RIP dear Cypriot 'soldier'. Carol & James Gibbs

Osman had been making Military mess kit for over 60years, he made my summer mess kit when I was the catering WO for the UN. I visited him about 6 months ago to have a suit made but he was to busy with military work, he said he was retiring after the work was finished sad he never saw retirement.

Oh how sad, a brilliant tailor who made my husbands wedding suit. I remember hubby trying to tell him, he was longer legged and Osman saying “sir, the tape measure will tell me all I need to know” . It certainly did too.
