I've not tried that particular product but I'm familiar with the technology and the principles involved - I have to say that they do not appear to be effective in TRNC - Sorry!

Yeah... I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with the technology as such, it's just that the treatment effects are shortlived, and you would perhaps do better with a filtration system.

Does anyone know if a company supplies and fits water softener machines for houses. I want one before a replace my bathrooms so they don’t get all that white stuff on em.

I have used one for years and I believe it does HELP. Couple it with a filter and think you will be fine

Since the Turkish water came on stream we don't have a problem with limescale...

Still got our limescale in Catalkoy - so if you need any we can supply it for you for free!!! Then again, maybe not all of us in Catalkoy are on Turkish water yet??
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Speak to Marco Dias on 0542-8511930. The shop is in Lapta and I believe supplies Hyundai water softening products. I've just had a reverse osmosis water system installed by the company and am thrilled with it. Prices are very reasonable too.

Re: Eddy water descaler
A reverse osmosis water system without softening is a good idea because then you can drink the tap water... We had this in the UK and it was great...Awali wrote:Speak to Marco Dias on 0542-8511930. Are you saying you’ve used the eddy for years? I was thinking of putting a filter on as well.Bert wrote:I have used one for years and I believe it does HELP. Couple it with a filter and think you will be fine
