Interesting article but I have a couple of doubts.
If China was that supportive why has the lire dropped as much against the Yuan as it has against the dollar over the last month?
It has also dropped 26% against the ruble in the last month so trading with those countries isn't going to be cheap .

Can see them dragging some other banks down into the dirt with them though.
