Flyscreens

Due to the owners of our rental apartment selling up we are in the process of moving but find the new apartment has some flyscreens missing.

We don’t want to go to the expense of having a company install them, does anybody know where we can buy flyscreen mesh together with suitable fixings/tape so that we can DIY.

According to a recent thread, the mesh should be readily available from Yapı Markets.

No doubt they would also be able to advise in fixing methods.

As Keith suggests you can obtain the mesh in just about every Yapi Market.

As for securing it that depends upon your construction of the frames. If using timber then a heavy duty staple gun is quite adequate and much preferable to using tape which loses it's adhesion and degrades in the sun as well as looking yukki.
