Fruit and veg out Tatlisu way?
We are coming to Tatlisu in November for a visit and wondered where the best place is to buy fruit and veg. I heard a rumour that yabeles was to open out that way? Can you buy from local producers or is there a regular market? Thanks all.

There is a new market similar to Ya Beles at the bottom of Esentepe hill on the main road next to the water pumping station.

Don't expect prepacked, beautifully shaped and tasteless. I expect it will be like the Curates Egg, just like the rest of the Island. and be prepared to have to wash the muck off the potatoes. I love it!!

This guy was recommended to us. His fruit and veg are really good quality as they are fresh. They don’t last long though as they are not full of chemicals like most supermarkets in the UK.
His maths skills aren’t brilliant mind, so keep on eye on your bill.

I think the lad who set it up is part of the Esentepe restaurant family and we use his stall all the time we are there. Use it or lose it the saying goes. Decent enough stuff and means we dont have to travel too far for veggies etc.
