Kantara Restaurant

Hi - does anyone know if the restaurant in Kantara has re-opened? It was closed the last time we went up there in July.

We were up there ten days ago and sadly closed the gate to the house that the owner lived in was also padlocked
So I will go up in the spring but not holding my breath
Out the other end Frigatta which closed five years ago is now open as the "Red wine "restaurant & bar not bad food out past Lapta right by the pumping station by the Titanic night club about three miles at the first village

Thanks Wanderer - when the restaurant changed hands the new owner changed the format/menu which clearly hasn't worked. So sad it is a lovely spot for a spot of lunch.
