With the problems Multimax are having with their VPN at the moment has anyone got a good free VPN that they use and are prepared to share their knowledge please? TIA.

You could try https://windscribe.com/ There is a free version, I think you get 2GB initially and then when you activate the link in the email, it takes you up to 10GB free per month, and this resets itself every month. It's not a lot though, if you watch or download a lot. It may or may not work with BBC iPlayer, due to the Beeb restricting VPNs, but it does work with the likes of TVCatchUp.

I no longer use it, and have gone down the paid route using SmartDNSProxy.com, which also supplies a VPN. There are plenty of other paid for options, think a lot on here use StreamVia. Plenty of threads on the site if you do a search.

I use stream via. Great service, costs 14£ for 3 months so as good as nothing really but a quality product with excellent back up.
