Good morning does anybody know if such a service exists here please?
Nothing untoward just a simple observation job.

Sorry but having spoken to our lawyer it seems that this idea was a waste of time!

Never mind, we've all learnt something!

...Mind you, I often find that talking to a 'Lawyer' here is a waste of time as well

Yes it is a costly waste of time but we have no choice but to go down the court route to evict a tenant the laws are totally against the landlord in these cases. Even if a stranger is squatting in your property you cannot just chuck them out because they will call the police!!
As foreigners we have to abide by the law we do not want to get deported.
Wilsons Detectives are in USA I am not sure how they think they can operate in TRNC but you have to pay them 1000 gbp deposit to find out they cannot!

Kind of you but I will do nothing for free as a once only offer - sounds like you need the money to get rid of a body in house, good luck and nice to see you still have a sence of humour.

send some dodgy untraceable heavies round with big dogs??

the law is shocking in regards to squatters etc. maybe theres some ex forces for example that may want to help you do some private investigation for a pittance, or curtain twitchers?? plenty curtain twitchers in cyprus. i don't understand how people can put people like yourself in the position you are in. your own property yet you have to sit back and wait for it to go to court, theres been so many cases its about time home owners had rights regardless of being foreign or not. you shouldn't end up out of pocket.

i hope you get sorted. must be awful

They do not answer the door & we were advised not to harass them as they could call the police!
