I've just unwrapped a cooked chicken from Starlings and the foil was really robust. I wonder what brand the Supermarkets use.

Would Sera Akilli Folyo be any good? It's foil on one side and brown paper on the other. I usually use it for lining roller trays when painting because it really molds to the tray but it is a foil for culinary use.

should have explained better. want it to wrap around outside pipe from log burner after wrapping it in insulation, pipe so long it does not get hot.

You could always do what I saw being done last week, They were using aluminium foil duct tape maybe that would suffice. I have some on a 50mm x 20 metre roll from Tayff . It only cost 12tl last year and they might have it on wider width rolls. Worth a try maybe?
