Akdeniz beach - Dog lovers

There are a few young hunting dogs hanging around the Caretta Restaurant area on Akdeniz beach, which appear to have been dumped. The little fat cream-coloured retriever which belongs to the restaurant needs to be on a diet, but these others are very thin, if not starving. We always have biscuits in the car so fed and watered them this morning before we all went for a long walk along the beach. They are very friendly, just underfed. If anyone else is going there, please take a few biscuits to help them out. We've named them Pudding, Dotty, Cocoa and Charlie to save you the bother.

Yes agree we fed the three yesterday. The two male hunters are allowed to go to the cafe but not the female for some reason. She seems alone to the right of the beach. But they all play together if you walk with them. Excellent food and very reasonable.

every time we see any animal looking for food, Gary and I always turn to each other and say they did not ask to be born!

I hope they stay safe and can cope on their diet from people who care

This morning there were the overweight retriever, a black and white bitch (these were both there two weeks ago), and a male and female brown spotted pointer who looked like brother and sister. So maybe there are more about than we realised.

The female brown one has been there for about three months and the other brown male one month according to the cafe.
