Kaya Palazzo hosts Xmas Fayre for NCCCT- UPDATE

We have some EXCITING news to share with you all on the Forum.
The stunning and spectacular KAYA PALAZZO in Karaoglanoglu is the venue for our Christmas Market and Fayre which will be held on SUNDAY 2nd DECEMBER 2018 and will start at 12.00 NOON until 4.00 pm,
Our heartfelt thanks to the generosity of the management and team at the Hotel for caring about our small local charity and hosting this for us.
We are still planning and playing with idea's as we would like to make this event extra special for our charity as this year is the 30th Anniversary of the charity being founded and we would welcome any help or suggestions from you.
Please make a note of the day, date and time as there are going to be a few Christmas events being held and we would love you to come and share ours with us.
We will post more details shortly.

Excuse us please but there are ONLY four more Sunday's until Our Christmas Market and Fayre at the fabulous Kaya Palazzo Hotel in Karaoglanoglu.
Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated to make this a special afternoon as well as raising much needed funds for us to help us do what we do!
Representatives from the Girne State Hospital came to see us on Friday in Heartbeat to let us know the 10 Adult Beds and 3 Children's beds have arrived from Turkey. so we just have to pay the second half of the total amount and a job well done which we could not have done without our volunteers and supporters help.

We will be displaying our posters this week for this event but if we may share with you some more details.
Our Christmas Market and Fayre hosted by the Kaya Palazzo Hotel on SUNDAY 2nd December 2018 will start at 12.00 NOON and not before .
A donation of 20 TL per person to the charity will be asked for please and the Kaya Palazzo are providing all the refreshments that we gift to you as a thank you for your generosity. These will be scrumptious!
We will be having our ''Island'' famous Raffle and the prizes will include a Christmas Turkey with trimmings, Spa days, overnight Hotel stays, meals with drinks included , Christmas Hampers and Lots More! Also you can enjoy a flutter on our 50/50 which is always popular at our Coffee mornings.
There will be our own charity stalls selling quality items from both of our charity shops, our home made cake stall filled with delicious fruitcakes, mince pies and other Christmas goodies plus we will be having face painting and other fun things for all the family to enjoy
The talented Kaya Palazzo chefs will be preparing and cooking a selection of delicious food and drink which will be on offer from their own stalls and will bring a continental feel to our Christmas Market and we all cannot wait.
There will be other stall holders selling their wares with everything from preserves and pickles, christmas cookies, craft ware and artwork, jewelry, christmas decorations, Christmas cards and lots more.
There will be valet parking and wheelchair access and the lovely staff of the hotel will be there to give a helping hand.
For us ''This is the Most Magical Time of The Year'' and we would love you to share this special event with us.

We have been asked about the location of the Kaya Palazzo so here goes?
Travelling from Girne to Karaoglanoglu and keeping on the coast road you will come to China Bazaar on the right hand side , take the next right hand turning where there is a large sign with Kaya Palazzo on it and just keep heading towards the sea and this will take you straight to the Hotel.
The first building is the Casino and the main hotel is the second building where we will be. There is a large car parking area just past the main building but for those who do not want to walk or have any difficulty in doing so we suggest being dropped off at the hotel entrance.
As you enter the hotel into the main reception area you will find the lovely staff waiting to guide you and give any assistance.We will be on the ground floor which there are two guest lifts to or you can walk out onto the terrace and there are a few steps down that is all. The lift number is Minus (-) 1.

We have been with the lovely people of the stunning Kaya Palazzo this morning going through the finer details of our Christmas Market and Fayre which is on SUNDAY 2nd December 2018 starting at 12.00 pm. NOON and could we just tell you all that we are FULLY booked now for spaces for the market stalls.Thank you to everyone who has been in touch and has taken a stall and we must say how pleased we are at the number of new vendors who will be there selling their own home produce , craft work and Christmas goodies.
This is just what we wanted to help bring the magic of Christmas to our special afternoon.

There will be food stalls for you to buy from catered for by the Hotel to include a selection of open sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers and waffles with various toppings.Also there will be wines including prosecco and gluhweine and the hotel have agreed all this will be on sale at a special price as it is our charity event and they want to help us as much as possible and add as much Christmas cheer as they can
They are really being amazing and we cannot thank them enough!

Good morning all. If the moderators do not mind we would like to confirm several details on our forth coming Christmas Market and Fayre as questions are being asked. Some we may have already answered but here goes anyway as we have ONLY three more sleeps left!
SUNDAY 2nd December - this coming Sunday - 12.00 pm NOON until 4.00 pm. - at the stunning Kaya Palazzo Hotel in Karaoglanoglu which is situated by the sea, signposted and coming from Girne is on the right.Look out for Tempo, then China Bazaar and take the next turning on the right.Follow the road to the sea, first building is the casino, second building is the hotel and entrance.The parking is past this entrance up a gentle slope.You can disembark at the hotel entrance but then the car needs to be parked.Valet parking is available for those with walking difficulties Hope this makes things clearer for those of you who were asking.
Our Christmas Market and Fayre is going to be held on the ground level of the Hotel which is accessible from two guests lifts - Minus G button - or from doors leading out on to the terrace.There are a few steps then down to where we will be.Two entrance stations will have some of our A Team waiting to meet and greet you .Our Christmas Market stalls will be outside but the refreshments will be served in the pool bar/restaurant which has lots of seating area's and this is where A VERY SPECIAL PERSON will be with his little helper .The children will be able to buy a parcel from Santa, have face painting done, name a gorgeous Teddy Bear and more! This is where our beautiful Christmas Tree will be as well.
The hotel will be having their own food stalls in the other close by poolside bar which also will have under cover seating areas.Their chefs are going to be preparing a selection of open sandwiches including smoked salmon, hot dogs, hamburgers and waffles.Also there will be a selection of wines and other drinks and the hotel has agreed in making and giving a concession on the prices just for us.
We are asking for a 20 TL donation from you to the charity on entrance and the hotel are kindly gifting to us refreshments to include, tea/coffee/ fruit juice/water and slices of their own marble cake which we are inviting you to share with us as a thank you for your support.We will give you a ticket to hand in to the hotel staff working in the poolside restaurant who will serve you but any other additional food or drink you may ''fancy'' is to be ordered from the other pool bar where the fresh food stations are going to be.It will all make sense on the day! Trust us please!

A lot to take in we know but with your help and just being there for us we hope to make this a very special and enjoyable afternoon full of Christmas laughter and cheer

We will be listing all the prizes and thanking personally all the lovely people and businesses who have so generously donated to us later and you will be able to have 5 chances of winning any of these prizes for just 10 TL. Plus our 50/50 will be there for you to have a flutter on!
We will have over 50 Christmas Market stalls there for you to browse, enjoy and hopefully treat yourselves from including our own charity stalls.Good friends of the charity have been busy having their own 'Christmas Bake Off' and there will be scrumptious mince pies, fruit cake and more on sale plus our quality clothes, jewelry, christmas decorations and lovely gifts for you to buy.

We have just had confirmation that two talented artists with BIG hearts will be adding their own Christmas magic to our charity Christmas Market and Fayre,
Peri Sualp and Muharram Cernoglu will be performing for us and we just cannot thank them enough. We are all feeling over whelmed , excited and cannot wait for Sunday.
Our Christmas ''tunes'' which will be playing in between these live performances have been put together by Sally from the DVD shop in Alsancak and our very own and much loved DJ Mike from Bayrak International Radio! How good is that and our heartfelt thanks to them both.

Good morning.We sincerely hope everyone is keeping safe and warm in these horrendous weather conditions.People who lived here all their lives are saying that they have never experienced anything like this before on the Island..
Our Christmas Market and Fayre was held on Sunday hosted by the Kaya Palazzo and despite how the weather turned against us and with the hard work of our A Team pulling together we raised a record amount for one of our Christmas events with more to come in!
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone of you that stayed with us till the end and we really enjoyed the lovely warm and happy atmosphere we shared in the poolside restaurant whilst drawing the raffle , 50/50 and Naming the Teddy Bear.
Unfortunately for some of the market stall holders ''Rain stopped pay'' so we cannot announce the Grand Total as yet until we receive the donations for stall holders space/s which hopefully we will be getting shortly.
We will be thanking personally everyone who helped us on the day and listing names of the lovely people who donated Raffle Prizes and helped us in so many ways.This will be on our NCCCT FB page.
The musicians who sang and played for us, our so jolly Santa and his cheeky little helpers, a very special Lady who decorated our beautiful Christmas tree and helped us in so many other ways, the lovely young Ladies who ran our gorgeous Name the Teddy, our caring Ladies who so successfully ran our Raffle, our friends of the charity who helped us on the day in so many ways, baking and selling cakes, meeting and greeting our guests, printing entrance and refreshment tickets and making us donation boxes, gifting beautiful baskets of goodies to sell on our stalls, putting together Christmas music tapes for us to play, the market stall holders who not only were here on the day but who support us through out the year at our other events such as Coffee Mornings and the list could go on!
To everyone at the stunning Kaya Palazzo from the management to all of the lovely staff who worked so hard for us and helped us so much our sincere and heartfelt thanks.
We cannot control the weather unfortunately and all of us know if the weather had been kind to us there would have been a lot more money raised.
It was bad but the torrential rain and the high winds could not wash away our 'A' Teams smiles.
