Fray Bentos
bought a Fray Bentos pie and tried to open the lid, as per instructions.
3 can openers and a cut hand later, had to rip the top off with pliers.
is there a bespoke opener for these tins?

Re: Fray Bentos
You have my sympathies. I have gone thru countless styles and types of can openers to open these tins. I usually resort to the knife on my gerber and pliars whilst wearing leather gloves
As I got older I congratulated myself on my tolerance..... Now I realise I just don't give a "ooops"

I can't for the life of me open FB corned beef tins. The openers are not up to the job and very nearly dislocated both my thumbs in the attempt. I used to have an opener as per the photograph and wish to heaven I'd kept it.

Oooooh luxury!
Then all you’d need is one of these and a tin of babies’ heads and you’re suckin’ diesel!
