Re: Where can I find.....
Just checked our packet and it looks like we got it on the dark side: either Sklaventis, Alfamega or Litsas.

You don't need suet for dumplings, grated butter and flour rubbed in to resemble breadcrumbs and a little water perfect! Look up Jamie Oliver no suet dumpling recipe, my guests couldn't tell difference......

I never use suet in dumplings, I use Jamie Olivers my Mums dumpling recipe. They are fab.

Agree with the above answers, we couldn't find suet anywhere. Made without and the results were perfect.

If you live to east of Girne, Supreme supermarket often have Atora suet.

I have got it in the past at Erdener Supermarket in Karakum. Also the vegetable version. But not sure if it is still there as I have not been recently.

I make my dumplings using our fantastic local olive oil
250g plain flour with 2tsp baking powder
2tbls olive oil
150mls milk
herbs of your choice.
you may need a little less or more milk according to how absorbant your flour is.
Enjoy
