New Years Honours List
I may be a small, scrappy puppy with no home of my own
I may have been a sickly cat found down in Girne town
I may be a large shaggy dog with smelly ears and tartered teeth
I may have been that stinky kitten with no fur underneath
But there is one thing together we all agree
Without KAR there would be no ME.

So Thank you to the many of you who care
The volunteers who come up and tidy our hair
The lads n lasses who look after us every day
The people who empty the collection boxes out their way
The shop ladies who, after sorting, need to wash their maulers.
The ladies in the office who try to help worried callers
The PIT team who every week give out KAR information
The vet and assistants who treat us with love and consideration.
The education team for their programe in the schools
The fund raisers who sometimes may even feel like fools
The pet travel team who often relocate our friends
The regular supporters who donate whatever the trends
The Chairperson and Committee who voluntarily give up their time
The many donators of gifts and raffle prizes so devine
Those who work tirelessly behind the front lines
Getting the KAR name “out there” within the deadline
The cat team and the TRNC community support
Who every week help get the unneutered cats caught
For all the many others who help the KAR Charity
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to each and everyone of thee

We may be homeless KAR cats and dogs that is true
But we would not be here if it were not for you.
So there is one thing upon which we all insist
You are all firmly on the KAR New Year Honours List
