Have inherited a portable gas heater which is faulty and goes out after about 30 mins.
Where can I get it repaired?

Re: Gas heater
If the heater starts ok and runs ok for 30mins. It may be fitted with an oxygen depletion sensor. If so the reason it goes out is a lack of oxygen in the room it is in. It could be trying to save your life!!! Mobile gas heaters are fine but they do not have a flue to take waste products away. If used in a small room with no ventilation carbon monoxide will soon build up in the room and starve the unit ( and occupants ) of oxygen. Be careful.

Re: Gas heater
If you have not already got one - get a carbon monoxide alarm/checker now!!! Never run a gas heater or wood stove without having one - they do save lives and one of them could easily be yours!!!
No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Re: Gas heater
Two really good pieces of advice fro Geoff1131 and Wado.
Don't look this as a fault but as described a life saver. To confirm this push the heater outside and see if the same "fault" exists!
