Looking for recommendations

Can anyone recommend a supplier for a gazebo like the one in the photo - would also possibly consider a metal version - looking for something relatively substantial, not the thin canvas and pole tent-like ones.

Since you are in Karsiyaka try Izzy Sparkes DIY on the main road to Lapta.
He has made a carport and shed for me - excellent quality and reasonable prices, also fast service.

Could also try Arman Metal, I know they have made various styles of gazebos.
They are based in Alsancak just along the road from the Merit Crystal Cove / Merit Royal.

Try Terrawood, maintenance free. Based in Magusa but does a lot of work around Girne. Really good work, you're welcome to look at ours if you want.
