Bernie Alexander, a Celebration of Life

Sadly, Bernie, who was known to many as a very talented pottery teacher, passed away on 5th February and the funeral took place last Tuesday at Lapta Cemetery. His sons are here at the moment and have asked that I post this message to hopefully reach his friends and students who they may not have been able to contact:

A message from Bernard's children James and Ross:

Hello Friends of our father Bernie:

Ross (from UK) and James (fron New Zealand) are now here in Cyprus and have had a couple of days settling in.

Throughout Dad's life he liked nothing more than food, drink and happy gatherings with friends to create fun, memorable times.

In memory of dad, we would like to extend the opportunity of inviting you to share food, drink and a chance to create one more happy time as a memorial to Bernie. It's a chance to catch up with each other, share stories with one another and perhaps learn a bit more about Bernie's life. We'll provide drinks, snacks, cheeses and crackers, that sort of thing and of course play his favourite music and some of yours too.

As his only sons, Ross and I would love to meet you all, it's one more chance for us all to be in dad's company, Just how he would have liked it.

It will be at his home this Sunday 17th at 2:30pm. Appreciated it’s short notice, but wonderful if you could make it!
