Digiturk problem
We are in Catalkoy and experiencing no signal from Digiturk for our tv.
Just wondered if this is a general problem before I make the trip into town to their shop.
Everything was working fine yesterday and the weather has not been as bad as the beginning of the week.
Would be much obliged if you would let me know if you are having the same trouble.

Turn the box off, remove card, for about 30secs , replace card power back on. If this does not work, re-scan all stations. works for me

Re: Digiturk problem
I also have a problem with Digiturk. When they installed it all seemed fine. I knew, I could not watch anything other than some free channels, but then I knew that. It showed that it worked fine, no buzzing. As soon as the other channels came in, the box started buzzing quite loudly. When you have the sound up high, you don;t notice it so much, but if there is a quiet bit in the film or I have it on more as a background sound for news or music it's so irritating. I then can't hear anymore what they are saying. I made sure all the leads are in properly. It did not do it when they were setting it up. I complained and they said somebody would come, but I'm still waiting more than a week later

Take the box to the shop, they will test it there.

Re: Digiturk problem
Thanks for the advice which we have followed but still no signal.
Beginning to think maybe the dish has been dislodged/moved due to storms last week.
Am going to get a workmate who is fluent in turkish to ring their helpline number tomorrow.
Fingers crossed!

The help line does have an English speaking person, so you can ring yourself.. I have always found them very helpful, and if possible have talked me through any problems that I could sort while they were on the phone.

Bob ! great to see you enjoying yourselves Friday ! We spent years between various satellite things and finally gave up and a while ago, we swapped to Extend 4 Mgb.,s and a streaming box from Dan at Satellite Cyprus and really not looked back if you like UK TV channels its the way to go in our opinion ! Give me a call if you'd like to see it in operation ? regards Barry
