Merit Royal PREMIUM Alsancak Hosts Coffee Morning RESULT

We have great pleasure in being able to share with you the news that our first Coffee Morning of 2019 is to be hosted by the stunning Merit Royal PREMIUM Hotel in Alsancak.
This is to be held on Tuesday 12th March and it will start at 11.00 am.
The Merit group are always so generous to us and we thank them for caring and supporting our small local charity.
More details in a little while but if you could share the news and make a note of the date please as many of you have been asking when our next Coffee Morning will be held.
Remember - This Is Not Just a Coffee Morning - This is a NorthCyprusCancerCharityTrust ONE!

Tuesday 12th March 11.00 am at The Merit Royal PREMIUM Hotel in Alsancak is the date, time and venue of our first Coffee Morning of 2019 and what a morning it will be. We will be in their magnificent conference suite which is accessible through the main entrance of the Premium Hotel via a lift.There is ample parking just across from the Hotel's entrance which is just past the Merit Royal Hotel,
A donation of 15 TL per person will be payable on entrance [ we would NOT say NO to more ] and we invite you to enjoy a 'cuppa and cake' which is being gifted by the hotel to help our small local charity raise much needed funds to help the local hospitals help us all.
Our charity stalls will be brimming with quality items, plus there will be our home made cake stall to tempt you, other stall holders will be there selling their own wares, our Island famous Raffle and 50/50 will be there for you to have a flutter on and all of this shared and enjoyed in such a stunning venue with friendly and caring people.

Just 30 TL donation to the charity to include a cuppa and cake will be payable per table and any additional space/table if required, depending on the venue, we ask a further 10 TL per vendor. May we add everyone is welcome and our aim is to be able to have as many varied tables for our supporters to enjoy.
We are all really looking forward to this FIRST Coffee morning and hopefully with your support we can make it a record one and have many more get together' s through out the year.
This will be the third time we have been lucky enough to be hosted by the Merit Premium for one of our Coffee Mornings and we give our heartfelt thanks to everyone within the Merit Group for their generosity and for having us.

We are asking for a favour! Would all the ''North Cyprus Master Bakers' be able to help our charity by getting your mixing bowls, whisks, rolling pins and whatever else needed out to bake up a storm and make some cakes for our charity cake stall ?
Our 'A' Team will be squabbling who is allowed to be the taster !

Only four more sleeps until our first Coffee Morning of the year hosted by the stunning MERIT ROYAL PREMIUM Hotel and Casino in Alsancak.
We had a meeting yesterday there with the lovely Aziza and her co-workers to discuss details and we will be there again on Monday to put the finishing touches for a fabulous Coffee Morning the following day.
May we take this opportunity to thank everyone within the MERIT group for their generosity, their caring and support for our small local charity.
Directions to help anyone unsure! From Girne travel on the bypass through to Alsancak until you come to a very tall navy blue sign on the left hand side of the road with the MERIT name on it. Just passed this sign you need to turn right and this will take you down to the sea and to the Merit Hotels. The bright coloured one which is the Merit Crystal Cove is the first one you come to, ignore and keep bearing left.The Merit Royal is now on the right and just passed this is where we will be , The Merit Royal PREMIUM.There is ample parking on the left hand side between the two hotel complexes.
There is wheelchair access plus the hotel does have two wheelchairs themselves to help their guests if required so if they are needed please give Wendy a ring on 0533 8686078 before the morning. Entrance through the main doors of the Hotel and the Merit Royal Premium staff will be there to guide you to the lifts down to where we will be waiting to greet you. From memory the button to press is B1.
We hope the above makes sense and obviously if you are travelling from the other direction you need to make a left turning off the coast road.
If anyone can add any other tips in direction please do!
We hope to have a full house and share a thoroughly enjoyable morning with lovely people in a beautiful setting.

Only one more sleep!
We had our final meeting this morning with the lovely people of the Merit Royal Premium and they are ''doing'' us proud!
The setting is incredible and the refreshments that they are so kindly gifting to us are absolutely scrumptious.Yes we did have a tasting and thank you very much!
Entering the Merit Royal Premium through the main entrance after having parked any vehicles in the ample parking across the road in between the two hotels, turn right into the East Wing, right again and there are two lifts which will bring you to us. Just press B1.
We have some beautiful ladies fashions including some for the more fuller figure, exquisite crystal figurines, home baked cakes and pastries, books,jewelry, adorable hand knitted baby wear and baby blankets and lots more! This is all just on our own charity stalls and we have twenty five plus more individual stall holders selling their wares!
This is ''Not Just A Coffee Morning'' - This is a NorthCyprusCancerCharity One - At IT'S BEST!
All we ask is for a 15 TL donation from you to help us help the local hospitals help us all!

Firstly may we just let you know that someone left a red cased mobile phone on the Raffle Table yesterday.Wendy tried to find the owner within the room but no joy.The phone is at the reception desk of the Hotel for safe keeping.It does have a phone number written on its inner sleeve.

Result time now! Oh What a Morning it was! Huge heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff of the hotel who helped us so much and always with warm smiles.The talented chefs did us proud putting on an incredible buffet which was replenished time and time again. It was ''Not just a cuppa and cake'' and the way the plates were being piled up we are sure everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came and shared the morning with us including the Doctors and staff of Girne State Hospital, the other stallholders and the friends of our charity who we roped in to give us a helping hand.
To everyone who donated a prize for our Raffle, gifted beautiful items and baked delicious cakes to sell on our charity stalls and to the lovely lady who won our 50/50 and generously gave back her winnings to the charity, our heartfelt thanks to you all.

We raised in total - 6,875 . 00 TL a record for one of our Coffee Mornings!

Thank you to all our supporters and we look forward to an enjoyable and successful year raising much needed funds to help the local State Hospitals help us all.

So sorry I couldn't make it, but am delighted you did so well. Don't undervalue yourselves though, you might be smaller than some other charities here, but you are certainly packing a wallop these days, and long my you continue to do so.
