When I log into CW, a warning comes up saying their 'security certificate' has expired and warns me not to enter into the site. You can still enter however, at your own risk. Are any other CW customers on Kibkom experiencing this when they look at their account on line please? Regards, Mrs Snakes.

I tried to log on to Iktisat this morning and it wouldn't take my number and password and came up with the message there is a system error, so maybe there is a central banking problem with internet banking.

BARRYSNAKES

Check YOUR computer settings, ie that the time and date on your PC is correct.

I had a similar problem once and that was all that was required to fix it.

Good luck

Thanks Compass for your reply. I have tried to log in on several laptops, all my times and dates are correct. I expect the site is being maintained.
Kind regards, Mrs Snakes

3 bank's cash machines that I tried were out of order on the Lapta coast road so I suspect there was a 'general' internet problem??

got a response back from credit west

' I have contacted the head office to resolve the problem that has occured with our internet banking. As its explained with the e-mail below, IT department has responded to us that the error was caused because of the renewal process for “SSL” certificate.

Should there be any reason preventing you to access our internet banking from now please notify us to inform our IT department to resolve the matter'

I tried withdrawing TL1000 from credit west machine today,I didn't give me any money, although it did deduct TL 1000 from my account!!
Needless to say I steamed straight into the bank and the problem was resolved quickly.
makes me wonder though, there have been other occasions when the machine would not give cash, and I never checked my statement at the time to check whether the funds had been deducted.
lesson learned!
