SAILING COCO
We are a couple from London and have been renovating boats over weekends whilst working over the last 5 years to be able to set sail one day! We have finally decided to leave the London rat race and start our sailing adventure towards North Cyprus - hopefully arriving around September! We will be making videos of our journey along the way and would love to share it with you guys! We cross the English Channel, encounter dolphins and almost get stuck in Alderney AGAIN!

Follow our adventures!

Thank you Mint1955!! We hope to see you in September too! We will be staying for at least a month with Ceylan's parents! Ceylan's dad is Soner so he recommended us to post our travels to fellow Kibkommers! Then we are not too sure what our next steps will be yet, we will see nearer the time!

I c
do apologise for not reading you post correctly. If there is any other help ref the marina just give me a shout l had a boat in the marine for 15 yrs and know most of the staff. The marine is very basic and quite expensive and not very safe for the winter which gives us high seas and very high winds Girne ( Kyrenia ) is in walking distance of the marine, at the top of the harbour road left is a large super market ( Lemar ) selling most UK foods. Local spirits and beer are very cheap compared to Turkey. If there is any other info I can help with you can contact me through messages on this web page.
Once again sorry.

Thank you guys for your best wishes! Something does seem to always go wrong with sail boats! We got our fridge repaired this morning and lost all the food we had provisioned for last week to find that the fridge is still not working! Hoping the company will come back soon otherwise we're stuck in Guernsey for a little longer and missing out on the great weather window we currently have!

We were thinking to keep the boat in the Karpaz Gate Marina whilst we stay in Cyprus! We usually visit it yearly for a dinner and love the space! We spoke to the staff there and seems like a safe and affordable place - works out much cheaper than the boat yard we kept it in England! Let us know if you think otherwise though, we didn't realise the Winter was so bad in Girne!
