Disclosure document needed

Has anybody had to do this, when they are living here? I filled in the Government form no problem, haven't send it off as I don't know how to get the required documents approved. Don't want to go to England at the moment. Have an address there. Never had to do this before.

I am just done it on line it can take up to a month. Put your home address as merson 10 Turkey and you will have to give your last address in UK
You apply to ACRO

Hi

My wife and I had to do this, all went smoothly and we had the forms back within 2 weeks. If I understood my solicitor correctly it was for our permission to buy (done after we had already bought).

i did it a few years ago its a long job if i remember correctly allowing time for all the back and forth

it used to be called disclosure scotland its now this

beware as some sites are only agents and charge you a lot more i paid 25£ i think

It doesn't cost anything via ACRO, you can request an email or postal reply. Did it about 6 months ago and just had to upload passport copy, if I remember correctly, definitely didn't have to post anything off.

Applied 29th June got subject access email on 2nd August

All done, now waiting, had reply, that requests have been received, it said 3-4 weeks - fingers crossed

We used it for a permission to purchase application in September, we were told to check in January but only got round to it a couple of weeks ago and it was all approved.
