Iktisatbank account fees

I've just noticed that the bank has started taking a current account fee and have been informed that every customer pays this every 3 months. We've been with them as 'VIP' customers for 14 years and, to my knowledge, not been charged before. Is this something all the banks here are doing now, perhaps in response to the weakening lira?

Noticed 3 days ago Near East also started doing this I never had it before. The manager said this should not apply to my account and they will get it removed. Fingers crossed. .

It is being charged for over 3 years. I also noticed, but already 2 years had passed. Basically it is 20TL per 4 months per account. Many banks have this policy here. As far as I know, Creditwest does not take this maintenance fee.
