Did you like or were you a "school prefect"

Does anyone have rotten memories of "school prefects" ? the ones who are generally the same as you, but given power to judge with no rhyme nor reason. It would be good to hear your tales and memories of such "jumped up" self assumed, "holier than thou" plonkers we all encountered throughout our education (and onward lifespan). I must add I was a "school captain" and looking back feel I was a bad example to set to others of my school. Allen
