Try the electrical shop near the New Harbour (turn left up the unmade track to the keft just before entering the New Harbour, and go into the far corner where there is a shop on the lower level of a block of flats, you will see plastic furniture outside). They had alrge round heaters in brand name OMEKO and I know a friend who got one and it adequately heats a very large room. I believe the price was just over 500tl.

We bought a Toyoset Omni heater from Lefkosa, the chap who owns the company speaks basic english and we are very pleased with it. His place is near the police station.

I have fished out my old paperwork (you are lucky because I have just moved house and have been able to find it!) and it also has a Zibro logo on it so you may be in luck.

Tel: 0392 228 7858 or 0392 227 9306

Obviously he services the heaters and we got a guarantee with it.

Sorry Andrew for the late reply, I had forgotten I had posted on here.

To be honest I cannot remember but if you ring the number above then they will give you directions, the only thing I remember is that it wasn't the newish looking building not far from the old immigration office where I had to go once to find my residency file.
