Mozzies and swimming pool
If you leave your swimming pool for 2 months or more (end of June onwards) totally switched off, will the pool be susceptible to mozzies laying their eggs on the surface i.e. the water becoming stagnant. Obviously the pool will turn dark green in colour, but that's not the issue. BTW I suspect the pool in question has a leak so the water level will go slowly go down.

If the OP is a question then the answer is yes,.. if you suffer because a neighbour is delinquent contact the Belediye.

Put some diesel in it that will kill the mozzie eggs

Re: Mozzies and swimming pool
jmm, it's difficult to walk on to someones property and start chucking diesel around!! Have spoken to the people concerned this morning and it looks like they are going to pay someone else to monitor the pool in their absence. Hopefully that will be the end of the problem. However, first sign of mozzie eggs and I'll be down to the Belediye.
