Flights to Ercan
Hi all, for the last few visits we have used the Larnaca option as we did not like the fiasco of getting off then on in Turkey. Our connecting flight was always tight and it was quite stressful trying to make it on time. However, we do prefer the Ercan option so we are wondering if this has got any better. Looking to book for next year.
Thanks for any help.

Depends where you fly from, if Manchester then there is plenty of time for the transfer

Re: Flights to Ercan
Last time we flew from Manchester we got back on the same plane so the transfer time was irrelevant but don’t think for one minute that is likely to happen every time! The plane was late in so despite the transfer time being plenty it is eaten away due to late arrival which in my experience is quite often

Flew to Stansted yesterday with Pegasus. The 08.30 flight was changed to 09.40 for "operational" reasons which meant dashing through the airport to get the connection. The gate was closing as I got there.

Re: Flights to Ercan
I've always flown Pegasus through Sabiha Gökcen and transit security is smooth, with me not even having to take out my liquids and laptop. Besides, if you miss the connection beyond your controll you're automatically booked on the next one, and will likely get a free meal (through a stamp on your boarding pass)

Thank you. Seems the worry may be unjustified then.
