Hello Everybody,
We have just modified the way we deliver complimentary TV feeds on our website. This new system uses a lot less resources on our servers, allowing us in turn to have more channels.

In addition to the BBC1 and ITV1, we are now offering 3 more channels. These 3 'guest' channels will be rotated in intervals so you are welcome to email us info@multimaxcyprus.com and let us know which channels you like to have in our website next.

you can now access all 5 channel feeds on our website. Here is the shortlink: http://mmx.tc/iptv

Email us if you run into any problems.

Happy Christmas and Enjoy!

You should be able to now using VLC. VLC is cross platform and there is a Mac version of VLC. One of the advantages of the new system is it does not require adobe flash. Just download and install the mac version of VLC and follow the instructions on the link above in Kemal's post.

@Vaughan, request noted, I see no reason why we wont add some radio channels into NTV in near future. There definitely a lot simpler than TV channels.

I dont know what NTV is, but BBC Radio channels (with a facility for repeat on demand for up to 7 days) is available on the Internet with no need for extras and no arguments or quibbles about Licence fees! I hope nothing planned will interfere with this, as I am not much bothered about TV but do rely on the radio. I mention this because a couple of evenings ago - for the first time since I have been connected to Multimax I had problems accessing BBC radio and earlier this evening there was serious buffeting, although everything else on the internet was working normally.

@harita, no offense, but what is the purpose of this post? is it really fitting for this topic? do you realize that forums are a place to share information and experience with others, and your post contains no information and so vouge information that 1) It doesnt help you because noone has any idea or given any background information to assist you 2) it doesnt help anybody else as it provides no information to assist them with anything.

1) Are you Multimax customer?
2) If yes, have you contacted customer support? (0548 888 6629) 3) If yes, what was the response?
4) If no, have you tried contacting us in any other way? Email (info@multimaxcyprus.com), website live chat (http://www.mmcyp.com) or any other? 5) If yes, what was the response?
6) If no, why didnt you?
7) Have you tried troubleshooting your own problem? 8) Are you only having problems with TV feeds or your internet is also slow? 9) Have you tried performing a speedtest on our website? (http://www.mmcyp.com)
10) Did you have issues like this before in very near future? If yes, refer to point no 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
11) When you say BBC1 and ITV1, it is not clear what you are actually referring to. Is it the feeds that we have on Multimax website(see the first post in the topic), BBC&ITV's own website or their respective player softwares? 12) If the latter, were you using any sort of VPN software when trying to access these feeds? 13) If yes, was it the Multimax provided free one (http://mmx.tc/vpn) or any other third party?
14) Where are you situated? What town/village/area? (Important for regional issues)
15) how does your filmon performance fit with the topic of this post? 16) How does your filmon performance fit in with any part of Multimax product? If you dont have good filmon performance, either your internet in general is not good, or there are some issues on the filmon side or anywhere in between that Multimax cannot control.

I am sure I can come up with a lot of points that is missing from your post that prevents it from being any use to anybody. In a forum like Kibkom, it all about sharing knowledge that makes it valuable, so until Soner comes up with a device that reads your mind and put it words for us to read and understand, this needs to be done manually.

First, what Vaughan requested has nothing to do and will not affect feeds from the BBC website (or any other source). It is true that these channels are available without any geo-restrictions and thats why we have neglected them up until now. However, for NTV users, it would be quite convenient to just use the remote and switch to radio without even having to turn on a computer. We are definitely putting this into our todo list.

Thank you for the well crafted email, from all the information you have provided, I think this may have been a fine example of Multimax having no issues but some sort of problem on the 'other' side (in this case BBC). BBC is one of the top businesses in the world and they have a very well designerd and invested website and feeds. But this doesnt prevent them from having load issues, or technical issues from time to time.

Unfortunately we can never 'go back in time' and check for an issue that does not exist anymore. Even the best educated guess, well, its just a guess of what it could have been.

If you never experienced issues like this before, I wouldnt worry about it too much, if it happens again and becomes a recurring issues, contacting Multimax Support the moment you have the problem is usually the key to allow us to catch it 'in the act', identify and fix the problem.

Thank for the reassurance re the radio feeds, Kemal. I am well aware that the BBC has its ...err... problems. I have contacts in Belgium and the USA who are keen BBC radio listeners and more IT Literate than I, and we compare notes if Aunty B is playing up before worrying our service provider if all else is OK. In this instance they had no problems, so reading this thread, and being something of a technophobe, I just wondered if in the process of your conversations you had temporarily disconnected something..............no problems if it doesnt recur, I just write it down to one of those weird blips or gremlins that seem to lie in wait for me in cyberspace.
