mains water Bellapis

Anyone else having problems with mains water supply in Bellapais. We are on the edge of Ozankoy border, water supply has been terrible for several weeks now, if we are lucky it has been trickling through. Went to Muhtars office yesterday and complained.... she said the man had been on holiday but was now back..... last night before going to bed the pressure was good, not full on, but better, and early this morning the same. Then, low and behold it went again around 10.00, so back to Muhtars office, where we found our neighbour also complaining...…. came home thinking maybe it would be better, not so, it has now gone off all together, no apparent reason, so the moral is, don't complain you will only make things worse......

Yes we have a similar problem. The water does appear to be put on at night sometimes as we wake up to full tanks. We have found the best place to complain is at the belediye office in town where we pay the water bill. The girls there do seem to try to deal with the problem.
