Does anyone know where in Girne / Lefkosa I can buy a Galileo thermometer that works with the temperatures we have here?
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

No, but you can get one in the South from https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... lD5aScG8sm
Sorry about the size of that 'link' - I'm using my 'phone which is a bit awkward...

Re: Galileo thermometer
Keith
thanks for your quick reply, but the one I brought from the UK in June goes up to 28 deg C - the one you recommend only goes up to 26 deg C - on Amazon in Germany you can buy them that go up to 34 Deg C.
Unless I get up in the middle of the night to look at it when the temperature is less than 28 Deg C (which I don't want to do), my current Galileo thermometer is useless (or at least until the winter), what I am after is one that will cope with our temperatures in the mid- thirties during the day.
Again, Keith - MANY THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE!,
