Is there a way to get a small parcel delivered to the UK?
Thank you in advance.

I didn't want to appear disloyal to my host Country by suggesting that the ROC postal system might be more reliable

I like to call a spade a spade and not worry about these kind of silly sensitivities myself Actually I consider all of Cyprus my country and that it is only messed up today because of British colonialism (again that is a joke)Keithcaley wrote:I didn't want to appear disloyal to my host Country by suggesting that the ROC postal system might be more reliable

"Try, 0548 830 0127, 0533 867 7799, 0392 225 6828. Their office is Industrial Area 22 Street, Number 6, Lefkosa. Their return address is ditto and add on 99010, Lefkosa, North Cyprus. DO NOT JUST PUT CYPRUS.
We use them often and find them first rate, they will normally collect or deliver your package to a nearby meeting point close to where you live."

First Call estate agents in Catalkoy are DHL agents and I think Dagli Insurance (not sure I`ve spelled that correctly) in Alsancak are too

Re: Parcel to UK
Just to note if I am sending or receiving anything via DHL and the like I still do so via the south, all other things being equal, for no other reason that then 'customs' can be bypassed, thus less delay and no chance of 'duties' vs some chance via TRNC 'direct'.
( the customs 'problem' is not between EU and Turkey, Turkey is in customs union with EU. It is between Turkey and TRNC. By using the south I avoid / bypass TRNC customs by carrying it in or out of the TRNC myself via the green line. With small items of limited value this works.)
I make regular trips south every 2 weeks or so, so choosing the south option works for me given that I have already covered the cost of crossing and am doing so anyway.
