Can anyone please let me know if it permissible to bring a second hand bicycle from the South over and what taxes (if any) I might need to pay?
Looking at a high end (ish) road bicycle in the €750 region. Thanks for any advice.

Why don't you ride it over I am sure no-one will take much notice.
As I got older I congratulated myself on my tolerance..... Now I realise I just don't give a "ooops"

thanks guys, not sure it will work for me logistically.. with me on my own in the car, but agree its probably not an issue to ride over the crossing if thats an option i may need to use.

If it will fit in the back of your car with a wheel off put it in, if they ask, you took it for service at cycle shop near Alpha mega my husband takes his over for service never had a problem
