Car hire, not so good firms

Hired a car from Karapasha for my son , wife and two small children.
This included the transfers from Larnaca.
I was explicit about the need for proper child seats to suit the children.
I was assured that there would be no problem.
The pick up had only one child seat and a booster seat where the seat belt was across the child's throat.
The hire car when we picked it up had two child seats unsecured in the back.
The return transfer was the the same, two seats not secured with an agitated driver clueless on what to do.

Child safety in north cyprus is something that the locals dont seem to understand, Karapasha you need to massively improve, had their been an accident my without our efforts to make things safe my grandchildren would have died!

Could I please add that following the earlier problems I emailed them to say please make absolutely sure we will have no such problems on the return transfer, but just as bad!

That is shocking, I would not use them again, plenty of others to choose from

Always use Mustafe Transfer. Has all correct safety equipment as you require. Drivers polite not permitted to speed or use hand held mobile phones.

Always used A1 never had a problem in over 10 years. Last year we needed child seat and they gave us an option of three different types.
Plus cheapest transfers to Larnaca ( £25)

Standards will never be quite up to what we are used to here in the united kingdom but even so this sounds like a bad experience. I hope it didn't spoil your trip.

Just cross them off the list and move on to other firms like suggested above the next time.

It's good to communicate these issues, hopefully no one else will suffer the same.
