Transferring photos from iPhone to laptop

Would anyone know if it's possible to transfer photos from my old phone, which has the screen of death now, on to my laptop, any help or advice gratefully received.

Have you any backups either to your laptop or to iCloud? If so you should be able to get to them there by logging on to your Apple account or with a new(er) iPhone restore them to that mobile.

Also if you have email on both you could add them to an email and reduce the size of the pictures
