When we went out today about 12 there was a beautiful Alsation with one floppy ear on the Kayalar road. When we came back about 5.30 it was lying in the middle of the road and how it hasn't been run down I'll never know!
If you've lost an Alsation or know of someone who has please let us know ASAP and we can go and see if it's still there. It's either been dumped or it's lost.

Re: ANYONE LOST A BEAUTIFUL ALSATION?
Hi Moyra,
Have posted a note to Steamerpoint on the pets section as his beautiful dog has still not been found.
Long shot we know but maybe you can be in touch with him.

Thank you, just came up the road about 2 pm and it's still there, very timid, must be wondering what on earth has happened to it, poor thingbigbadbob wrote:Hi Moyra,

Its such a shame but people do dump dogs as far away from humans as possible. It might help people if you can see if its male or female. Any chance you could persuade it into a more secure place and give it some food and water? Animals will often lie on asphalt because it holds the heat more than wet grass at the side of a road. BTW, does it have an injury at all, perhaps that's why it's loathe to move very far?

We stopped today got out of the car and when we called it, it ran like the clappers away from us. Definitely doesn't appear injured and don't think we'll get close enough to sex it. I think it's just really scared and suspicious at he moment. We're going to try and give it some food tomorrow if it's still about. It really is a beautiful GSD.

Thanks for doing what you are. If it's still there in a day or two, and with the wetter weather which we always get at this time of the year, you might like to give KAR a call and see if they are in a position to help. 0533 869 40 98 or kar@kyreniananimalrescue.org They are bursting at the seams, but they may have had a call from someone asking if he/she has been reported. Please don't be too upset if they say they just can't take dogs in from as far away as Kayaler because of sheer over crowding.

Thanks, I've done that already and they've not had anyone report a missing GSD. I know they don't cover this area, but to be honest, the poor dog was so frightened anyway it wold have been a challenge to catch it!sophie wrote:Thanks for doing what you are. It seems to have moved on anyway as we haven't seen it for a few days
