Mobile Phone Registration Costs

Does anyone know if the registration charge for mobile phones is available anywhere. I have a 32 gb iPhone 7 and a 16 gb iPhone SE to register.

Just to make you aware that Jobs worth at the tax office will not accept a copy of your passport - it must be the actual passport.

Marvellous isn't it. You have to provide actual passport regarding a poxy mobile phone, but last week I was doing quite a bit of banking which needed identification and my driving licence was more than adequate. I will never understand their priorities. Perhaps that's the point? We're not supposed to understand! (Sorry off topic a tad)

Its a power thing and yes there was absolutely no reason as to why a copy isn’t acceptable but he wanted to demonstrate his childish authority

Do not be surprised after paying the Duty on your phone that it gets cut off anyway. Took me 2 weeks to get it reconnected. Make sure when you go to Service Provider and pay them 15tl, that they register your phone there and then.

Soner is right. The customs people advised me to go to Turkcell straight away and watch them "doing the business" . I did and was connected extremely quickly.
