House watching etc (Esentepe)

Just wondering if there was anyone, or a company that offers house watching, perhaps that others may use or have used in Esentepe? Not necessarily spending time there, but perhaps having a look round the exterior to check for obvious damage or problems if driving past etc, but with the key code can access the property and remedy anything that needs attention. Someone that will put looking after our property ahead of the pound signs.

Having completed a few weeks ago but now back in UK, i was hoping to come out between Christmas and New-Year to sort a few things out, however due to family health reasons, i doubt i'll be coming out as planned and i'm not immediately sure when the next trip will be either, though we're not talking months and months, maybe just months. Naturally i'm just a tad concerned for the meantime.

Oh and i forgot to turn the gas canister off before we left too. Electric and water are off though.

If it is just for a one-off spell, you might find that property management companies will not be interested and, in those circumstances, an individual may be the better option. If it is a more permanent arrangement - for checking the property whenever you are not there - then a property management company (and they are not all big) may be able to tailor a plan for you.

I installed my own ip cameras inside and outside, wouldn’t be without them now, they are amazing, and you don’t need anyone checking or (not checking??).

Thanks all and to lee666 for the pm.

I was also thinking of CCTV and had been looking at a Swan True Detect PoE system with cloud back up etc, which i'll probably do anyway at some stage, but not got Broadband in yet which was to be when i came in December but not looking likely now.

Many thanks to everyone for their feedback and PM's. I have now arranged for someone to take a look round periodically which i feel is all that is needed at this stage. Hopefully once we're back in TRNC when circumstances allow, i can put a maintenance plan together and start with the dodgy plumbing and tanks we inherited.
