Can anyone post a list and the procedure of exactly what is needed for renewal of residency for an under 60 please.......

Things seem to change so often (including charges) that I just wanted to make completely sure!!!

Many thanks

Best place is to go to immigration and they will give you the definitive answers.

Second choice is the BRS who have a full list of all the rules as they know them - http://www.brstrnc.com/index.php?option ... Itemid=138

After that you are getting personal opinions and experiences, IMO!

The price changes on 1st January every year ie it has just gone up and I believe there is a thread on the forum giving the new rates.

Did mine a couple of months ago. 1st stop is the police station with all paperwork. Original Mukhtars letter, copies of kochan, contract of sale or rental agreement, bank statements and passport, picture page and residency page. Also if you are a blood donor that has given blood 3 times in the previous year (one of which has to be within a month of residency renewal) then copy of blood donor card. If you are a blood donor then you don't need the medical tests and the police just send off your papers and you go to immigration 3 weeks later as usual with passport, stamps and pay your money which has just gone up so not sure what it is but just over 200tl. If you are not a blood donor, then at the police station they will give you a slip of paper to take to the hospital. There you pay 135tl (or was unless that has just gone up as well) and get a blood test and chest x ray. You then go back to the hospital a few days later and get your results (which you must not open) and those results are taken to immigration when you go. However, having said this it is a new year and things change day to day here so probably best thing is to go to the police station with your paperwork and they will fill you in as to what to do next. Hope this helps. Happy New Year.
