Multimax Download Speed

I am approaching the end of my 1st year with Multimax and I remember the prophets of doom who said that it couldn't last - that all the ISPs started well and then went down and down.

As we hit the 10am watershed, I have just watched the download speed on my 4mb link drop from 1mbytes/sec to the normal 550kbytes/sec on my utorrent download - from 2.5 times my contracted speed to 1.35 times. At the same time it is supplying the decodes for my satellite system without a flicker from the TV. In the last 22 hours I have downloaded 45.5gbytes of movies, used the internet extensively and watched a few hours of TV.

I won't have any problem deciding whether or not to renew.

My renewal is due soon, and I too will be renewing my contract with Multimax.

I don't know the technical ins and outs of this but my 5mB provision copes with a PC and a laptop AND NTV all at the same time without any problems.

These guys are trying hard to iron out the wrinkles and their after sales response is 1st class.
