Thunderstorms today and tomorrow, frost on Tuesday

According to http://www.haberkktc.com/haber/saganak- ... 56351.html there will be thunderstorms on Sunday and on Monday morning. Apparently on Tuesday morning Jack Frost will make one of his rare visits to Cyprus.

I think the frost depends on which side of the mountains you are on. Last winter I was travelling once a week from Lefkosa to Alsancak in the early hours of the morning (anywhere between 3 am and 5am) and my drivers car was reading a difference of up to 8 degreesC between Lefkosa and going down into Girne and in fact we were having bets on what the difference would be and I lost every time.
Its the mountains that make the difference. In fact I think a lot of people do not realize the influence that the mountains have over the weather.
