I received this email from Turkish Airlines yesterday and find it just unbelievable that in this day and age that this could not be done internally .
As of 29.03.2020 international and domestic flights from İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport will be operated by AnadoluJet, which is a trademark of Turkish Airlines. Therefore, your flight (Pnr Number : VDTFDK) has been changed. Tickets purchased from Turkish Airlines sales channels (http://bit.ly/tkrst, Call Center 444 0 849 / +90850 333 0 849) can be rebooked via the same channels. Tickets purchased from travel agencies can be rebooked via the relevant travel agency. We wish you a pleasant flight.
I have contacted the booking agency I used and they were totally unaware of the situation. They are getting their specialist team onto it and will contact me soon by which time probably the aircraft will be full.
Interestingly we have been flown by Anadolujet on the second part of our journey for a while now do one wonders if they can do it then why not now ?
Anyone any thoughts ?

Re: Turkish Airlines or Anadolujet
I have booked a holiday in Turkey for April with Agoda and the flight from Sabiha Gokcen back to Ercan has been changed meaning instead of a 1 hour stop off it is now 51/2 hours! Turkish Airlines for 3 of the 4 flights but only the last one with Anadolujet has been changed

We had the same situation last week changing the flight times for a long stop over , then this. It just does not make sense.
When you are asked to rebook your flights with another airline albeit the same holding company who gets the money? One assumes that this is done "in house" if that is the case why not just transfer the booking.

Hi king Neptune, having seen the flight that we had been bumped off still on sale on the Turkish Airlines website I rang them up yesterday afternoon and asked if we could change our 4th flight to a better time so that we wouldn't have the long wait at SG. They could not be more helpful and have changed the flight to go from Dalaman to Ercan via istanbul airport with a much shorter waiting time at no extra cost. Just phone the second number above and follow the step by step guide to get an English speaking rep. Cannot fault the excellent customer service. I should add that we booked the flights separate to the holiday.
