Amazing really considering the state of the aircraft.

Trigger why let it put you off Pegasus.?... Looks as if weather conditions or runway surface were contributing factors.
Brazen yes second in a month, but when you think SG is the home base of Pegasus and 90% of the flights in and out of SG are Pegasus planes if there are skidding or overshoot issues it stands to reason that the planes involved would be Pegasus planes, I would have thought.

I am of the opinion that 2 overshoots in a month is probably more than a major airport such as Heathrow, with a far greater number of landings daily, have had in 5 years. Why is this? Is it because the runways are too short or the maintainence of the aircraft inadequate? Are the pilots not proficient? There must be a common denominator; I don’t believe in coincidences and have little desire to travel with Pegasus until we know the cause and that it has been eliminated.

If a pilot reaches the airport and the brakes don't fail, it's not the aircraft it's the pilot. No matter what conditions...

From BBC news - "The Boeing 737 was trying to land in heavy tailwinds and rain...
....Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya said: "Unfortunately, the Pegasus Airlines plane couldn't hold on the runway due to poor weather conditions and skidded for around 50-60m [164-196ft]."
Another report (somewhere) stated "...the aircraft failed to decelerate..." - possibly reverse thrust not used due to mechanical or pilot failure?
First, second, or both above explanations?
