Lapta smart meters. NOT !!!

Just had two men in our garden looking at our water meter, they did have a lapta van.
Asked what they were doing, 'control ' somehow the meter was showing minus 10 tonnes!!!
Asked how but got the shrug 'control '
We now have to go and get credit.
Anyone having this problem?
How did they know and I need to get a'Warning Dangerous dog here ' sign on the gate.

Yes. I had minus 18 , they said no problem with meter,I could not have used 4 ton in 12 days,Now fixed.
Yes there was problem..big leak somewhere.

I thought that holding 3 tonnes in reserve on your card eliminated the possibility of using unpaid for water.
Two questions, how did the so called smart meter allow this and how did the water dept know?

Your lucky getting some if i run my meter to 18ton it would take a year as no water in Karpasia for over 2 months
