I've got a really good haggis recipe, tried and approved by my Scotsman friend, let me know if you want it and I scan it and post it here.

Andrew I have three Halls Haggis in my freezer but I am keeping them as the factory is on the verge of shutting down they may become the last ones for the world to clone for a new range.

I did get some Haggis on a couple of occasions from Bells Food Store and over in the South Side also.

Andrew, I made this in a traditional pudding basin and it works really well. If you have a nice friendly butcher, give hime the weights of the different meats, including the suet - hard fat from the lamb- and let him mince it, then the rest is a doddle. Mashed carrots make a reasonable substitute if there are no swedes.
This recipe for the whole Burn's Night dinner was in a womans magazine about 30 years ago and I've had nothing but praise for my many efforts. I've had a failure only with a bought haggis, followed the instructions to the letter, but it burst!!
There is a trifle for pudding, can send that too, if you like.
