Pegasus cancellations
Has anyone successfully sorted their rebook or cancellation for Pegasus flights?
If so how? online or by phone.
Thanks
TML.

Re: Pegasus cancellations
Am waiting to see what the Government say regarding flights in and out of the country before making a decision. I'll probably go for an open ended ticket eventually. As UK is still in EU until the transmission period ends and have UK passports, they should legally refund money, but not holding my breath. (At least that's what the Travel Guru on BBC said last week, when people were telling him their airline was refusing to refund money) He said not to accept vouchers under any circumstance.

Re: Pegasus cancellations
Had a booking with Pegasus from Izmir to Ercan in early April.
Cancelled yesterday.
Went onto website to manage booking, put in the PNR number plus our surname and selected cancel booking. There was an option to rebook. Cancellation went thro and it showed the costs paid and advised refund would be made back onto the credit card used to originally pay for the flights.
It was an easy process which took just two minutes.

Re: Pegasus cancellations
I had flights booked from Stansted to Ercan. We had the option to change dates, transfer to an open ticket or cancel completely.
Pegasus app or website is very easy to navigate once you have entered your PNR. I cancelled our flights & a full refund was made to my credit card within 3 days. Can't say fairer than that.
Pegasus should be applauded for their efficiency at this time.

Re: Pegasus cancellations
Guru, are you saying that the airlines should take responsibility for this situation? It is terrible for all concerned however it is only the relevant governments that can resolve the problem, with assistance of course from the airlines.

Well, that was unintentional, but quite appropriate in a punny kind of way

Re: Pegasus cancellations
Sophie, from memory i think there were three options (buttons) available once you have entered your PNR. These were change flights, open ticket or cancel ticket.
Once the cancel ticket option was selected the full cost breakdown of the flight(s) was detailed together with a statement that the refund would be made to the originating card between 1-10 days. You are then asked to confirm to proceed.
Hope you are successful.

We were due to fly out from Stansted to Ercan and received the same duty of care from Pegasus, full refund. Well done Pegasus.Hellsbells wrote: ↑Fri 20 Mar 2020 4:05 pmI had flights booked from Stansted to Ercan. We had the option to change dates, transfer to an open ticket or cancel completely.

Re: Pegasus cancellations
We were due to fly with Pegasus today, I was very grateful to the KibKom member who put it on the forum last week, about the Government stopping entry. I had changed my flight to the 2nd April, possibly a bit naively, the flight on the 2nd is now cancelled, i do want to get over to Cyprus as soon as it is safe to do so. I do rely on the forum for so much information, so i woulld be very grateful if and when the government do decide we can return, if some one would post it on the forum. I would like to say a huge thank you to Soner and forum members for keeping us who can't be in Cyprus all the time, for all the latest information at such a difficult time.

I've been trying to cancel my flights for two days now and every time I press continue after selecting cancel it comes up with "Unexplained problem try again later" Could the site be overwhelmed or is the problem at my end?

TML, did you ensure that you selected all the flights to be cancelled? Other than that i'm really not sure what the problem could be, other than as you suggested it is being overwhelmed. I think you may have to try & phone Pegasus. Hope you can resolve the issue.
