As I have avsolutely no idea what a Russian Spaniel looks like (and I suspect I'm not the only one) can you post a photo of the dog saying whether its male or female and perhaps let us know why the owners want to give it away. Does it have any bad habits that prospective owners ought to know about in advance? It won't necessarily stop people taking the dog on because habits can be broken.

Sorry it's not mine and I don't have any photos.
It looks like a springer spaniel only smaller, it a dog (male) has no bad habits I'm aware of quite a friendly little chap. Been inoculated.
The family have broken up, husband has left and wife can't manage.
As far as I'm aware it was bought (not cheaply) as a present for the kids.
If I wanted a dog then I would have no problem taking this one, in fact I would have had it, but my life style doesn't allow for a dog.
