Remember we signed up to get reminders about road tax, MOTs, fines etc?

Anyone had a reminder?

but their website tells you when your MOT and Tax is due , I am very impressed with the service.
The MOT can also be paid online along with the tax, I took a photo of my MOT, emissions certs and forwarded in an email, less than 24 hours I could tax the car.

Be careful which passport you use. I had to use my second of my three passports.

Very helpful email from online help area, informed me of the the passport number they wanted me to use.

Yes you need to use the passport that was valid when the car was registered in your name. Plus you need to put the letter 'P' at the front of the passport number.

How do you get your actual road tax disc if you pay online?
Thanks C

You print it off, if you haven't got a printer you can save the document to a device you'll have when you're driving, like your phone, which I would do anyway. You could probably get it printed at somewhere like Deniz Plaza, or Magic Touch if you take the device it's saved on (phone, tablet, memory stick) to them.

Will look out for a reminder for road tax which is due in June. However; not convinced we will receive one. Have done a “dummy” run on the website and it appears to work fine so hopefully that will be an easy job when the time comes.

I have just paid vehicle road tax online.

I have a new UK passport since first registering the vehicle. Fortunately I kept previous insurance documents (which list passport number) along with my old passport. I also see on the back of my TRNC driving licence the passport number (at time of licence issue) is recorded.

Our vehicle registration documents do not record the passport number of the registered owner - might be useful to pencil the passport number used at time of vehicle registration on to the vehicle registration document, for future reference.
