Car Mechanic, Recommendations please.

Can someone recommend a good car mechanic, please.
I used Ziggy for 15 years, he was brilliant, he will be so missed by many.
Prefer Alsancak, Karaoglanoglu or Lâpta area.

Serkan at Karsiyaka is really good. Very expert in all things mechanical, including automatic gear boxs and air conditioning units in vehicles. Fair prices and a really nice man. His english is not quite as fluent as was Ziggy's but easy to talk to. His phone number is 0533 861 8464 and his location is easy to find. Coming from Lapta, pass the Karsiyaka Square, go about quarter of a mile, see one hotel on right hand side of the road and the driveway to the single building immediately along side and before that hotel is where he lives and works.

Johnny if you drove past the main hospital into town go straight over the next roundabout and a few metres before the traffic lights on the left is a good mechanic, old school. He normally has a couple of classics being repaired, he's done two jobs for me others would not attempt and very reasonable.

I live in the south... ive been looking for a good mechanic for a while because the mechanic i was using here for years has got greedy and a bit lazy.i needed a spare part.. i couldnt find myself,he did find a place that he could get it from but was asking for too much...do you remember the mechanics name and what does it say on the shop sign... thanks again

Sadly, Ziggy died suddenly following a heart attack...
